Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team. The UX/UI designer will be responsible for designing the overall functionality of the product to deliver a great online user experience.

As the UX/UI designer, you will be expected to understand our business goals and any technical limitations to plan, implement and optimise user interface designs. You will conduct user research, interviews and surveys and use this information to create sitemaps, customer journey maps, wireframes and prototypes.

The ideal candidate will have an extensive experience using UX best practices to design complex responsive solutions for a complete digital environment. This is a significant role within the team to deliver successful customer experiences and help us build a loyal customer base. Job Responsibilities

• Plan and implement new designs that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Test and optimise existing user interface designs for experience.
• Communicate with clients to understand their ideas and translate them into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes.
• Design graphic user interface elements like menus, tabs, forms and widgets.
• Test and iterate designs before implementing.
• Conducting ongoing user research.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.

Job Requirements

• Prior working experience as a UX/UI Designer.
• Demonstrable UX/UI design skills with an impressive portfolio.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and jQuery.
• Excellent experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, process flows, user flows and site maps.
• Knowledge of Adobe range of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Dreamweaver.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Basic knowledge of Usability Factors in Human Computer Interaction.
• Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
• Ability to present and sell your design solutions to various stakeholders.
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• At least a bachelor’s degree, with a major in Computer Science, Web Development, Human-Computer Interaction, Mobile Computing, Graphic Design, Software Engineering or a related field of study.
