Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to provide financial insights and advice to our senior executive management so that they can make sound business decisions. You will prepare financial reports, monitor accounts, oversee investments and develop long-term strategies.

Primary responsibilities will include providing support to operations team in the monthly review, identifying areas for cost reductions and process improvements, monitoring annual budget process, periodic forecasting and analysing business unit performance.

In this role, the person will do everything from collection and preparation of accounts to performing strategic analyses. If you have a sound grasp of financial systems and procedures, and can confidently deal with complex modelling and analysis, we will love to meet you!

Job Responsibilities

• Collecting, reviewing and interpreting financial information.
• Formulating strategic and long-term business plans.
• Analysing competitors and market trends.
• Developing mechanisms for reducing financial risks.
• Identifying opportunities for cost-reduction.
• Managing budgets and supervising staff.
• Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends.
• Managing a company’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
• Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance.
• Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
• Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.

Job Requirements

• Relevant years of progressively responsible experience in a similar role.
• Strong experience in financial statement analysis.
• Strong analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature.
• Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills are essential, particularly in regard to presenting the results of analyses to management.
• A degree in the field of Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Business Studies or Management.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
