Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to act as second in command in our organisation. The Chief Operating Officer will oversee the company’s operations and report to the CEO. The person should have a dynamic and charismatic personality, as he/she will be leading a team of high-performing professionals.

As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Chief Operating Officer will perform a crucial role in building, implementing and overseeing all of the business’ systems, processes, workflows and procedures. You will be accountable for enabling the organisation to execute both short-term and long-term plans and directives with your sound judgment and vision.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CEO in spearheading strategies to set the company’s future in a positive direction.
  • Implement daily operations, aligned with the overall organisational goal and strategies.
  • Oversee effectiveness and efficiency of both internal and external operational process.
  • Monitor performance and implement corrective measures to achieve improvements.
  • Develop and implement business growth strategies.
  • Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Present new strategies to the board of directors.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and taking action when necessary.

 

Job Requirements

  • Prior work experience as COO in a company of similar size.
  • Possess n MBA, MA in business administration or any other relevant post graduate degree from a recognised university/institute.
  • Strong knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of business planning and regulatory issues.
  • Hands-on experience of managing larger teams.
  • A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Financial reporting capabilities including budgeting and cash flow management.
  • Possess management experience across a range of business disciplines including Marketing, HR and Finance etc.
  • Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues.
  • Demonstrated experience of ethical leadership.
