Having worked in the recruitment industry for over 9 years I have the privilege of leading a boutique Indigenous recruitment agency that strives to make a real difference in the Australian economy. I began my career as an Administrator/Accounts Assistant at ARG Workforce (Previously known as Australian Recruiting Group) whilst studying my Bachelor of Business Management (Majors in Human Resources & Marketing). After the completion of my degree I was promoted into a Recruitment Assistant position with Karlka Recruiting Group (a joint venture between ARG Workforce and Karlka Nyiyaparli Aboriginal Corporation). In this position, I learnt the foundations of recruitment in a fast-paced, blue collar environment recruiting General Hands, Utility Workers and Chefs for large mining sites in the QLD Surat basin. I then progressed to a Recruitment Consultant position and specialised in White Collar recruitment, predominantly for the Public Service. Since July 2016 I have been in my current position as the Recruitment Director at Karlka Recruiting Group. I am the central point of contact for all Karlka Recruiting Group clients and provide guidance and support to our incredible recruitment team.
